The Christmas tree cookies recipe is specifically designed for the holidays, to create delicious and colorful sweets that can be enjoyed with guests or gifted to friends and family in a fun and easy way.

Preparing them is a simple process: once the shortcrust pastry is ready, it should be rolled out to a thickness of about 5 millimeters and then cut into tree-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter. At this point, they are baked in the oven. Once they are baked and cooled, they are partially dipped in melted dark chocolate and then in sprinkles.

VoilĂ ! All that's left is to let them dry on a rack or on a sheet of kitchen paper and they will be ready to be served with tea or packaged with a beautiful bow and gifted.

For the end-of-year holidays, you can truly indulge in themed recipes and all kinds of sweets, such as these Christmas Balls, the Christmas Cookie Crown, or the Nutella Puff Pastry Christmas Tree.

HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS TREE COOKIES

Step 1:

To make the Christmas tree cookies, first focus on the shortcrust pastry: in the bowl of a stand mixer, use the k beater on low speed to mix the cold butter cut into cubes with powdered sugar. Add the egg, salt, and vanilla seeds, and continue to mix until well combined.

Step 2:

Add the flour and yeast, and continue to work the mixture quickly. Once a compact dough has formed, briefly knead it by hand. Form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 3:

After this time, roll out the shortcrust pastry on a floured surface with a rolling pin until it is 5 mm thick. Using a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut out as many cookies as you like, placing them at appropriate intervals on several baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake one sheet at a time in a preheated 180-degree oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown, depending on their size.

Step 4:

Remove from the oven and let cool. Meanwhile, coarsely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in the microwave at maximum power, stirring every 30 seconds. Alternatively, you can use a double boiler. Dip the cookies partially into the melted chocolate from the pointed end, and then immediately into a bowl with sprinkles.

Step 5:

Lay them out on a wire rack or a sheet of parchment paper, and let them dry. The Christmas tree cookies are now ready.
